My Priorities

Housing

No one should have to choose between going hungry or jobless and paying the rent or the mortgage. More affordable housing should be built, so that way the people of Warren, Ohio can afford to live here. I will work with any elected official to accomplish the construction of good quality affordable housing.

Infrastructure

No one should have to drive on roads with too many potholes and bumps. Many people need government to fund the roads and highways they use. Those who do not drive need government to fund sidewalks and public transportation so that way they can make it to where they need to be. I believe that we can and will improve our infrastructure.

Labor

I believe that no worker should be left behind. The minimum wage must be raised to at least $15 dollars an hour, so that way the people of Warren have more money to afford the overall cost of living. No one should be overworked and underpaid. I will work with any local elected official to accomplish raising the minimum wage.

AI

I believe that innovation is important. I also believe that dignity is important. The government should not waste time, money, and energy on projects that do not benefit the community. The bare minimum that local government can do is safeguard workers from being replaced. No working family should have to pay a lot of money for the cost of AI data centers on their electricity bills. No working family should have to pay for the environmental waste that comes with the construction of AI data centers. These AI data centers can and should be stopped. I will work with any local elected official to make sure that that AI data centers won't be constructed.

Childcare

I believe that no working family should have to pay so much money just to raise a child. It is time to fund childcare and daycare facilities so that way a family can afford to raise a child or raise children. We can and must take steps toward making universal childcare a reality for the people of Warren. I shall work with any local elected official to make sure that universal childcare will be signed into law.

Education

I believe in having a great public education. No more flooding money into charter or private schools. I will work with any school board member or local elected official to make sure that public schools are equitably funded, as well as strive to raise the salaries of teachers and faculty members.

Healthcare

I believe that every family should be entitled to the best quality healthcare for the lowest price. No one should have to pay so much money for healthcare and medication that they need. Healthcare is a human right. I will work with elected officials to make universal healthcare a reality.

Faith in Action
